I thought it would be interesting to show how a painting develops from start to finish.
This example is a commissioned portrait. It starts with a simple drawing, then a painting-in of simple color areas. The drawing is continually modified from step to step and the painting gradually becomes more detailed. Finally, smaller changes and color adjustments are made as the painting nears its final stage.
