These drawings are my latest works. Recently I've been doing drawings with mixed media, mostly with caran d'ache. Caran d'ache is what I like to call "crayons for grown-ups." It's a wax crayon which is water soluble. When you apply water to your paper, the crayon sort of becomes like water color. I also let the crayon stand on it's own too. Often I will start with water soluble pencils, which are colored pencils that becomes watercolor-y when you brush water onto them.
I will often make final touches with oil pastel, an oil based pastel, unlike traditional, chalk like pastels often used by artists.
